CICS Resources

Locations — Offices in 15 counties work together to develop support for people with mental health or intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Individuals seeking funding for mental health and disability services can visit the local office in their area or call for an application. Then CICS will determine eligibility for funding, provide specific information regarding services and support in the local area, and assist with referrals to service providers.

Provider Access Points — CICS has designated access points to serve as the first point of contact for someone seeking mental health and disability services. These access points are educated to respond to the individual's stated and assessed needs by providing linkage to appropriate programs.

Providers — CICS maintains a network of service providers to meet the continuum of service needs of individuals we serve. These providers have met the stringent requirements established by CICS.

Applications — Individuals interested in seeking funding must complete an application. You may visit or call your local office for the form, or access the downloadable form on our application page. Once completed, the application should be returned to your local office.

My CICS journey started small. I needed help signing up for the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Later, my relationship with CICS grew into something more akin to a family bond. CICS helped me sign up for ACA and find an “awesome” therapist and psychiatrist. I know in my head and my heart that CICS will help me, even if they can’t directly at their offices.
